How to make a wedding & afterparty day-info page
Weddings and afterparties involve a lot to tell guests — the venue, meeting time, fee, dress code and more. Put the extras that won't fit on the invitation onto one page and share it by QR or URL, and guests can check it on their phones anytime. No account is needed, so even older guests can just open and read it.
Create this page →What to put on the page
- Venue name, address and access from the nearest station (map link)
- Reception, start and finish times
- The afterparty fee and how to pay (cash / cashless)
- Dress code and anything to bring
- A single organiser / reception contact
Where to post the QR
- A small QR on the paper invitation or seating card
- Standing on the reception table
- At the afterparty venue entrance or reception
- Sent directly by chat or email
When to create it
Build it 1–2 weeks before you send invitations so guests can plan. Since the day is far off, choose a longer expiry. Last-minute changes (a shifted start time, etc.) can be edited on the spot via the Edit link.
Recommended expiry 7 days (for invitations, re-create it on the morning to be safe)
Keeping personal data off the page
- Don't post a guest list, seating chart or phone numbers
- Avoid the couple's home address or personal mobile — use an organiser contact
- Keep money amounts minimal and the payment method clear to avoid disputes
- Use "link + passphrase" so only people who know it can open it, even if the link spreads

Tips for using it well
- For the invitation version, re-create it on the morning and swap the QR
- Give both the address text and a map-service link
- Choose a passphrase guests can guess (e.g. your anniversary) but outsiders can't
