Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of Nobo Page ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Minors should use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

2. The Service

• Nobo Page is a free service for creating and sharing temporary pages ("boards") without logging in.
• Each board has View, Edit, and Admin capability links.
• Boards are automatically deleted after the expiry you set (1 hour to 7 days).
• Features and behavior may change, be added, or be discontinued without notice.

3. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content you enter and share.
• Manage your share URLs and capability information appropriately. You bear the risk of mis-sharing, loss, or use by third parties.
• Keep your own copy of anything important.
• Content may not be recoverable after expiry or deletion.

4. Capability links and keys

• A holder of the View link can view; of the Edit link, can edit; of the Admin link, can delete and manage.
• Treat each link (and the key it contains) as secret.
• Because keys are stored only as hashes, the operator cannot recover a lost key.
• You are responsible for the consequences of sharing a capability link by mistake.
• The passphrase feature is supplementary and does not guarantee absolute security.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Violate any law or public order and morals.
• Infringe third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, likeness, etc.).
• Improperly obtain or publish personal information.
• Defame, discriminate, threaten, or harass.
• Post illegal or harmful content.
• Distribute malware or phishing, gain unauthorized access, mount overload attacks, or exploit vulnerabilities.
• Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
• Disrupt operation of the Service, mass-create by automated means, send spam, or impersonate others.
• Improperly obtain or use capability information (links, keys, or passphrases).
• Use the Service for crime, or for anything the operator reasonably deems inappropriate.

The Service is not designed for, and does not recommend, storing confidential information such as passwords, API keys, private keys, financial or medical data, contracts, or company secrets.

6. User content

• Rights in content you submit remain with you or the rightful owner.
• You represent and warrant that you hold the rights necessary to submit it.
• You grant the operator a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content as needed to operate the Service (storing, displaying, copying, delivering, and backing it up).
• Content that violates these Terms may be removed or made private.

7. Retention and deletion

• Boards are automatically deleted after the expiry you set, and generally cannot be recovered afterward.
• The operator may delete or unpublish a board where operationally or legally necessary.
• The operator does not guarantee storage or backups. Keep your own backups of anything important.

8. Changes, suspension, and termination

The operator may change or suspend all or part of the Service without notice for reasons such as maintenance, faults, security responses, third-party outages, disasters, or legal requirements, and may discontinue the Service. For a significant discontinuation, the operator will try to give advance notice where feasible but does not guarantee it.

9. Third-party services

The Service is provided using external infrastructure (such as Cloudflare). The operator does not control, and is not responsible for, external services such as links contained in a board.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is." The operator makes no warranty, express or implied, as to continued availability, completeness, accuracy, security, fitness for a particular purpose, or the storage or recoverability of data.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for damages (including loss of data) arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This does not exclude liability for the operator's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. This section applies only to the extent it does not conflict with mandatory consumer-protection or other laws.

12. Intellectual property

Rights in the Service itself (its user interface, logo, code, and text) belong to the operator or the rightful owner. These are distinct from content submitted by users.

13. Privacy

Handling of user information is governed by the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

The operator may revise these Terms as needed. Changes are posted on this page, and significant changes are announced within the Service. Changes take effect upon posting, and continued use after a significant change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

The governing law for these Terms and the resolution of disputes relating to the Service are determined based on the operator's location. The specific governing law and agreed court may be set out separately.

16. Language

The Japanese version of these Terms is the authoritative text. If there is any discrepancy between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version prevails.
