View, Edit and Admin links — the difference
Each Nobo Page comes with three links at different permission levels — View, Edit and Admin. Because a link works like a key, which link you give to whom is exactly what each person can do.
Try creating a page →What each link is for
- View: read-only, safe to hand out. Only this link can become a QR code — use it for venue and storefront postings.
- Edit: view plus write. Share it with people editing the page alongside you.
- Admin: full control — edit, delete, and re-issue the View / Edit links.
| Can… | View | Edit | Admin |
|---|---|---|---|
| View the page | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Edit content | No | Yes | Yes |
| Delete the page | No | No | Yes |
| Re-issue links | No | No | Yes |
| Become a QR code | Yes | No | No |
Who gets which?
- Visitors, customers, the public → View (post it as a QR)
- People running or editing it with you → Edit
- You, the owner, only → Admin (don't hand it out)
Handle the Admin link with care
- The Admin link itself can't be re-issued. While you have it open you can copy it again anytime from the manage panel, but lose it without a saved copy and you can't regain control — so keep it somewhere safe and private.
- Save the "backup (links + QR)" offered right after creation so you can manage and reprint from another device.
- If a View or Edit link ever spreads, re-issue it from the Admin link to invalidate the old one (the Admin link itself can't be re-issued).
- For how a link works as a key, see "What 'only people with the link' really means".
